Let me start by telling you the most off putting facts about me: I am not religious. I don’t believe in god (or heaven or hell or any form of after life) and am even skeptical about atheism. I like the Dalai Lama’s “Kindness is my religion.” I am a Bernie Sanders unabashed liberal. I live a senior residence in assisted living at El Castillo in Santa Fe. I cannot travel because I cannot walk very well (after three surgeries on my cervical spine—the third to correct the first two). I have an electric scooter. On the more positive side: I am a retired professor of anthropology and Linguistics and a pretty good photographer (see: ossy.smugmug.com). I was relatively recently widowed.
